A growing luxury design and fabrication company in Bozeman is looking for a Metal Finishing / Patina Technician to join its team. You’ll help create the unique colors, textures, and finishes found on custom architectural pieces including fireplaces, cabinetry, metalwork, elevator interiors, and other high-end designs.
No previous patina experience is required. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a shop, and interested in learning a specialized craft, the team is willing to train the right person.

- FOUR-DAY WORKWEEK: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- $25–$28/hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and polishing
- Apply patina treatments to create specific colors, textures, and finishes
- Learn how different metals and treatments react to achieve the desired result
- Use brushes, sprayers, grinders, sanders, pressure washers, and other shop equipment
- Inspect finished pieces and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality
- Safely handle finishing products and chemicals while following established procedures
- Keep your workspace clean and organized
- Help prepare finished pieces for packing and delivery
- Work alongside the fabrication and production teams to keep projects moving
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality
- Comfortable working with your hands, tools, and finishing products
- Willingness to learn new techniques and take direction
- Dependable and able to work independently once trained
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. and stay active throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a shop environment
- Ability to meet required background and drug-screening requirements
