A growing luxury and design company in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Patina Laborer to join the team. This company works on custom design projects including fireplaces, elevators, cabinets for their high end clientele.
The Patina Laborer will be responsible for preparing, treating, and finishing metal surfaces using patina techniques to achieve desired color and texture effects. This role requires hands-on work with chemicals, tools, and artistic processes to enhance the aesthetic value of metal components for architectural, artistic, or industrial applications.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Prepare metal surfaces for patina application (cleaning, sanding, polishing)
- Mix and apply chemical patina solutions to metal using brushes, sprays, and other techniques
- Monitor color development and make necessary adjustments for consistency and quality
- Operate equipment such as spray booths, grinders, sanders, and pressure washers
- Follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and completeness
- Assist with packing, labeling, and documentation as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Qualifications:
- Experience in metal finishing, fabrication, or related field a plus (training available)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working with chemicals, hand tools, and in a shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Physical ability to lift 50+lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and materials
- Able to pass criminal background check and drug test
