Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Build and manage a profitable agricultural and commercial loan portfolio
  • Develop new business through community involvement, networking, and regular customer outreach
  • Build long-term relationships with local farmers, ranchers, business owners, and community members
  • Meet with borrowers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate loan structures and products
  • Analyze financial statements, credit information, and other data to make sound lending decisions
  • Cross-sell banking products and partner with other departments to provide comprehensive customer service
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of bank products, services, lending practices, and market opportunities
  • Deliver a high level of personal service while representing the bank in the local community

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of agricultural or commercial lending experience
  • Strong understanding of agricultural lending and rural business operations
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Sound financial analysis and credit judgment
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to develop and grow a loan portfolio
  • Genuine interest in working with rural customers and becoming part of a local community
