The Welder will play assist in the production of high-quality, commercial-grade stainless steel swimming pool equipment. As a Welder, you’ll be responsible for fabricating and welding parts and assemblies that are vital to creating durable, state-of-the-art pool products. Your work will directly impact the success of our manufacturing process, ensuring we meet demand and fulfill work orders efficiently and on time. Essential Functions and Duties:
- Interpret and work from product specifications, blueprints, and work orders, performing required mathematical calculations
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on 304L and 316L stainless steel in all positions
- Safely operate and maintain shop equipment, power tools, hand tools, and PAPR respiratory systems
- Assemble, position, and clamp components; grind and finish welded joints to meet quality standards
- Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality control procedures
- Collaborate with shop leads and team members to meet production schedules, manage materials, and maintain consistent attendance and performance
Qualifications:
- Experience in TIG and MIG welding
- Must be able to safely operate shop equipment and tools
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Must be able to engage in frequent bending, and lifting
