A well-established local pool and spa company serving the Flathead Valley is seeking a dependable team member to join its install department. The company is known for quality service, customer care, and a friendly team environment, providing pool and spa maintenance, water testing, and related services throughout the area.
This position offers an opportunity to build and renovate high-end swimming pools, spas, and water features throughout Montana. The role involves hands-on work including pool preparation, demolition, tile and plumbing work, rebar and Gunite preparation, leak detection, and equipment installation. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors.
Wage: Up to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Renovate existing pools and assist with new construction of pools, spas, and water features
- Prepare pools for interior finishes, including cleaning, demolition, tile work, and plumbing
- Hang steel, tie rebar, and set forms for Gunite applications
- Assist with Gunite setup, application, and job site cleanup
- Perform leak detection and repair plumbing for pools, spas, and water features
- Install swimming pool equipment and related components
Qualifications:
- Previous pool, spa, water treatment, and maintenance experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures with strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around pool and spa chemicals and able to lift and carry equipment and chemical containers as needed
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
