Facility Maintenance Technician

A popular entertainment destination in Whitefish, MT, this local business offers a fun, welcoming environment. The facility is fast-paced and community-focused, with a team dedicated to providing a great experience for guests while keeping the operation running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined person who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and keeping things running smoothly. The primary focus will be maintaining and repairing bowling equipment, with additional responsibilities supporting laundromat equipment and general facility maintenance. Previous bowling equipment experience is not required, the right candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, be willing to learn, and work well independently.

Starting Wage: $25 to $30/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours, some evenings and weekends required

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on GSX pinsetters, bowling lanes, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and complete repairs or adjustments as needed
  • Maintain commercial washers and dryers, including basic troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Monitor equipment for recurring issues and coordinate outside service technicians or vendors when necessary
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building repairs
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment while following proper equipment and safety procedures

Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to identify practical solutions
  • Previous experience with mechanical equipment, maintenance, or repairs preferred; bowling or commercial laundry equipment experience is a plus
  • Comfortable learning GSX pinsetters and using hand and power tools safely
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work safely around moving machinery and equipment
  • Able to perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working in tight or varying-temperature areas
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
