Project Manager – Transition Opportunity for Insurance Adjusters
Residential Construction

Are you a residential insurance adjuster ready to step out from behind the desk and into a role where you can directly drive projects, build relationships, and see the results of your work firsthand?

A growing construction company is looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in insurance claims, estimating, and homeowner communication. This is an excellent opportunity for adjusters who understand the restoration or reconstruction process and want to transition into construction project management.

Why This Role Makes Sense for Adjusters:

  • Your experience already translates:
  • Reviewing property damage and scopes
  • Working with homeowners during stressful situations
  • Managing timelines and documentation
  • Coordinating with contractors and vendors
  • Negotiating claims and understanding insurance processes
  • Now, you’ll use those skills on the construction side — helping projects move from estimate to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage residential restoration and reconstruction projects from start to finish
  • Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, and insurance representatives
  • Review scopes, supplements, estimates, and project budgets
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects stay on track for quality, timeline, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct site visits and maintain project documentation
  • Help clients navigate the construction

What They’re Looking For:

  • Background in residential insurance adjusting, estimating, or claims management
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience reading scopes and construction-related documentation
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
  • Construction or restoration experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation:
$70,000–$90,000/year depending on experience

Ideal For Someone Who Wants:
A long-term career path outside of insurance adjusting
