A locally owned general contractor based in the Missoula area, specializing in high-quality custom homes and residential projects, is hiring a Project Manager. The company supports a variety of projects throughout the region, with a focus on quality craftsmanship, efficient project delivery, and dependable service.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential building projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, can manage multiple projects, and communicates effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Why You Want This Position:
- Starting Wage: $80K to $90K, depending on experience
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday (some flexibility based on project needs)
- Work alongside ownership with direct input on projects and decisions

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Manage all phases of residential construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project schedules
- Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets
- Conduct site visits to ensure quality, safety, and progress
- Communicate with clients and review plans, specifications, and contracts
- Track costs, approve invoices, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of residential construction project management experience
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Buildertrend or Procore)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience with custom home builds and local relationships preferred
