Powder Coating & Assembly Technician – 3-Day Weekends!

$19–$20/hour DOE | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

An innovative global company specializing in advanced materials engineering and manufacturing is looking for a dependable Powder Coating & Assembly Technician to join its team. The company develops specialized equipment, technology, and services used in industries including electronics, displays, and clean energy.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working with tools, equipment, and finished components. The technician will support manufacturing and engineering operations by completing powder coating, assembly, inspection, and finishing tasks while following detailed work orders and specifications.

With a Monday through Thursday schedule and three-day weekends every week, this position offers a consistent schedule while providing opportunities to learn new skills and grow within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform powder coating, assembly, finishing, and basic fabrication tasks using standard equipment and power tools
  • Read and follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, sketches, and detailed instructions to determine proper processes, tools, and fixtures
  • Inspect completed work using visual checks, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
  • Complete rework and adjustments as needed to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and other departments while providing professional and responsive internal customer service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety and quality procedures

What You’ll Bring
  • Approximately 1 year of manufacturing, powder coating, assembly, fabrication, or related experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, drawings, and established procedures
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and regularly bending, reaching, and lifting
  • Dependable team player with good communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot routine issues independently
  • High school diploma or equivalent
