This position is responsible for safely moving, staging, and loading building materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Forklift or warehouse experience is preferred, along with strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Starting Wage: $20.50/hour
  • $2,500 Signing Bonus: $500 paid after 90 days / $1,000 after 180 days / $1,000 paid after one year anniversary

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Safely operate and maintain propane or gas forklifts to move and stage products
  • Load, unload, and handle building materials safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and address unsafe practices
  • Accurately count, measure, and perform basic math for inventory and shipping activities
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping, receiving, product counts, and warehouse activity
  • Develop strong product and warehouse knowledge while supporting quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement


Qualifications:

  • Building materials, construction, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred; two years of forklift experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions five days a week
  • Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or warehouse management systems preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move or slide materials up to 100 lbs
  • High school diploma or GED required
