Procurement Specialist

This role is responsible for maintaining strong procurement processes through structure, discipline, and consistent standards while collaborating closely with engineering, production, and suppliers. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of purchasing principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accuracy and timely execution are essential.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Research, source, and purchase materials and parts needed for production
  • Create and manage purchase orders, quotes, and supplier communications
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing, and delivery information in company systems
  • Build relationships with vendors and resolve ordering or delivery issues
  • Track shipments, expedite urgent orders, and support production timelines
  • Assist with inventory, shipping, purchasing processes, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support process improvements
  • Shipping or logistics experience is a plus
  • Proficient with computers and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
