LC Staffing is now recruiting for a laser operator for a leading manufacturing company in Missoula. In the laser operator position you will be required to perform advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill. 

Work Location: In Person (Missoula, MT)
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm

• Chooses correct material for the job according to work order
• Sets up machine, selects proper burning tip, sets gas flow and machine feed rates
• Uses gauges, calipers, squares, or rulers for measurement
• Determines processing specifications such as materials, burning tips, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences
• Reviews CAD drawings, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in operating a burning machine or as machine operator/programmer.
• Past machine operator experience
• Forklift certified
• Must posses basic measuring skills
• Microsoft Windows programs experience, specifically Excel.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (50 pounds max).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to engage in frequent bending, and lifting and standing and walking.
• Work environment does have chemicals in use on premises and environment can be dusty. 
• The noise level in the work environment is constant and loud at times. PPE may be required for hearing protection.
