Inventory & Material Specialist – Multiple Shifts Available

$21/hour DOE | Multiple Schedule Options | High-Tech Manufacturing

An innovative global company specializing in advanced materials engineering and manufacturing is looking for a Inventory & Material Specialist
to join its team. The company develops specialized equipment, technology, and services used in industries including electronics, displays, and clean energy.

This is an important production-support role responsible for keeping materials and components moving accurately and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process. The Material Handler will manage inventory, perform cycle counts, receive incoming parts, maintain accurate records, and ensure production teams have the materials they need to stay on schedule.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and enjoys a role where accuracy and dependability directly contribute to production success. Warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience is preferred, especially in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule Options

  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Weekend Shift: Friday–Monday, 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
  • Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage the accurate flow of materials and components between inventory, receiving, and the production floor
  • Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory verification, and related production-control activities
  • Receive incoming parts, update records, and maintain accurate inventory information
  • Monitor material needs and coordinate the timely delivery of components to production
  • Support Kanban processes and help prevent shortages, excess inventory, and accumulation of return stock
  • Work closely with production control and management teams to resolve material issues and keep operations running smoothly


What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of inventory, receiving, warehouse, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with good basic math and communication skills
  • Ability to accurately count, track, and document parts and materials
  • Forklift, pallet jack, or overhead crane experience is a plus
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
