A leading advanced manufacturing organization operates a facility in northwestern Montana, supporting the production and servicing of high-precision equipment used in industrial applications is seeking Intermediate Assemblers. The site plays an important role in delivering innovative solutions that support modern engineering and advanced equipment systems. The team is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where precision, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential.
The Intermediate Assembler role includes performing basic wiring, soldering, and calibration tasks, as well as completing detailed finish work and preparing finished products for proper packaging and transport. The position also plays an important role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area while ensuring proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials
Wage Range: $20 to $23 hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 4- 10's — Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (with potential overtime on Fridays)
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Read basic electro-mechanical diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings
- Apply basic electro-mechanical assembly skills to construct electro-mechanical and pneumatic subassemblies and components
- Perform simple wiring, soldering and/or calibration tasks
- Complete detail finish work and properly package for transport
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss or injury
Qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Experience with electrical wiring
- Independent worker and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Committed, meticulour, and quality driven
- Possesses basic computer skills
- Effective oral and written comminicator
- Ability to grasp training concepts quickly
