A reputable Montana Manufacturing company is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team. This position does have the opportunity to become a long term position.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with great attention to detail, accuracy and organization. This position is temporary but could possibly work into a long-term position with the right person.
Pay: $22 hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain vendor and customer accounts
- Complete day-to-day accounting tasks with monthly and quarterly closings
- Complete Accounts Payable processing, including posting bills
- Collaborate with supply chain and other departments to understand AP transactions
- Assist with reconciling month-end closed accounts payable to the general ledger
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of general ledger and financial reporting
- Process payments by check, electronic transfers, or credit cards
- Provide backup documentation for the analysis and preparation of financial documentation, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous accounting experience preferred
- Experience with GL coding and bill paying
- Strong computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check
