Parts Associate

A well-established equipment and parts provider in the Columbia Falls area is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. They specialize in supporting customers with quality equipment solutions, dependable service, and a strong focus on keeping operations running smoothly for a wide range of industries.

The Parts Associate works directly with customers, service technicians, and vendors to identify, source, and supply heavy equipment parts and accessories. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, mechanically inclined, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20 to $28/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with parts inquiries, orders, and product support in person, by phone, and via email
  • Identify and source parts for heavy equipment, skid steers, excavators, loaders, and related machinery
  • Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and warranty claims while maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinate with service technicians and shop staff to ensure timely parts availability and job support
  • Receive, stock, organize, and track inventory, including cycle counts and staging parts orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department
  • Assist with hydraulic hose assembly and other shop-related support tasks as needed

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in parts, automotive, agricultural, diesel, or heavy equipment industries preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment systems and components
  • Proficient with computers and able to learn parts lookup and inventory software
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting physical demands, including lifting up to 75 lbs. and working in a shop or warehouse setting
