Why You Want This Position:
- Starting Pay: $18.40/hour
- Schedule: Full-time – availability to work a flexible schedule, seven days per week based on operational needs
- including any combination of the following shifts:
- 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Prepare and execute hot and cold menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Utilize efficient production methods, including batch cooking and just-in-time preparation, to support daily operations
- Ensure compliance with ServSafe and food safety standards for handling, storage, sanitation, and production
- Provide leadership through clear communication, direction, mentorship, and leading by example
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for employees, guests, and students while promoting team growth and engagement
- Deliver exceptional customer service through positive interactions and a commitment to continuous culinary and leadership development
Qualifications:
- One to two years of production or line cook experience, preferably in a collegiate, institutional, bakery, or meat department setting
- Proficient in operating a variety of commercial kitchen equipment and tools
- Skilled in reading, interpreting, and accurately following standardized recipes
- Demonstrated basic knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Strong understanding of sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures
- Ability to work independently, maintain productivity in fast-paced environments, and provide excellent guest service
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
- High School diploma or equivalent
