A well-established supplier in the Flathead Valley is seeking to add Stone Production Technician to their team in Kalispell. Specializing in high-quality stone products for residential and commercial projects, this company partners with contractors, builders, and homeowners to bring custom designs to life. This role involves inspecting and sorting cut stone, ensuring products meet size and quality standards, and stacking and sorting materials according to order specifications. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, with experience in stone, construction, or manufacturing.
Starting Wage: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday – 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Perform pre-start inspections to ensure a safe, hazard-free work area
- Sort and inspect cut stone by size, type, and quality using conveyor systems
- Stack and palletize stone products according to order specifications
- Coordinate with operators to modify materials as needed to meet product standards
- Communicate with team members regarding inventory, quality issues, and completed pallets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including end-of-shift housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Experience in stone, construction, or masonry preferred
- Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts a plus
- Mechanical aptitude or experience in equipment maintenance preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
