Production Stone Installer & Fabricator

A home design business, located in Kalispell, MT, in the heart of the Flathead Valley is seeking a Production Stone Fabricator/Installer to add to their busy team. They have been helping customers for over 30 years and pride themselves on customer service and offering quality products for any budget.

As a key member of our production team, you will work closely with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure that each stone installation is completed to specification and on schedule. Pay: $24 to $32/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time: 4,10 hour days with occasional Friday work

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Measure, cut, and shape natural and engineered stone materials to meet project specifications
  • Operate stone cutting, polishing, and finishing tools and machinery
  • Install stone countertops, backsplashes, flooring, and other stone features according to project requirements and architectural plans
  • Safely transport and handle stone slabs, ensuring they are free from damage during transit, fabrication, and installation
  • Conduct quality checks on both fabricated and installed stone to ensure consistency, accuracy, and flawless craftsmanship
  • Communicate professionally with clients during installation, addressing any concerns or questions

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and/or layouts
  • Must have organizational and planning capabilities and effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs utilizing proper lifting techniques
  • Must be able to do routine arithmetic calculations, for job management
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common blueprints, layout and specifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a current driver’s license
