The Machine Operator will set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. You’ll be inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting, to maintain quality standards.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00/hour, depending on experience – plus $1.00 for 2nd shift differential
Schedule: Second Shift, Monday through Thursday – 4:00pm p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
- Reads and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
- Oversee training of new or Junior Machine Operators
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing facility required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Able to clearly communicate with coworkers and Team Leader
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Knowledge of production and plant processes
