A growing lake front destination property in Northwest Montana is seeking to expand its hospitality operations and build on its reputation as a welcoming gathering place. The property brings together dining, lodging, recreation, entertainment, and private events, attracting a mix of local guests, travelers, groups, and seasonal visitors. With continued growth ahead, the organization is focused on creating a consistent guest experience while maintaining its unique local character.
The Hospitality and Growth Manager will play a key role in strengthening restaurant operations and developing the team, systems, and financial performance needed for continued growth. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who can improve day-to-day operations while gradually taking on broader responsibility for property-wide operations, marketing, business development, events, and revenue growth. The role is expected to evolve over time based on demonstrated results and the organization’s readiness for its next stage of growth.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Lead daily restaurant and bar operations, establishing standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism
- Assess, recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop staff while building accountability, strong communication, and effective leadership
- Improve workflows, procedures, staffing, purchasing, inventory, portion control, waste reduction, and overall operational efficiency
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, labor, food and beverage costs, expenses, profitability, budgets, and P&L results
- Expand operational leadership across lodging, events, entertainment, recreation, and retail by strengthening coordination, service, and profitability
- Drive business growth through marketing, events, partnerships, promotions, lodging and dining packages, new revenue opportunities, and long-term strategic planning
Qualifications:
- Restaurant or food and beverage management experience overseeing both front- and back-of-house operations
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, food and beverage costs, profitability, and performance metrics
- Proven ability to build effective systems, procedures, training programs, and accountability within a hands-on operation
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching employees, developing supervisors, delegating effectively, and building high-performing teams
- Commercial mindset with strong relationship-building, marketing, business development, and long-term planning skills
- Flexible, solutions-oriented leader who can balance daily operations with long-term growth; hospitality, lodging, events, entertainment, tourism, marina, or multi-department experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
