Excavator Operator
A reputable local trucking and excavating company is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join their team. This position plays a key role in site development projects, including residential and light commercial work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with excavation equipment and a solid understanding of grading, trenching, and site prep operations.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Operate excavators to perform tasks such as trenching, digging, grading, and backfilling
- Read and interpret site plans, utility markings, and grade stakes
- Work efficiently and safely around underground utilities and structures
- Load trucks with material and assist with on-site material management
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues
- Collaborate with foremen, laborers, and truck drivers to complete jobs on schedule
- Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols at all times
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating excavators on construction or excavation sites
- Familiarity with various types of soil, terrain, and job site conditions
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Valid driver's license required
