Customer Experience Representative

A small, locally owned bank is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to join their team in Columbia Falls, Montana. This financial institution is committed to community involvement and is built on a strong foundation of trust. Their primary focus is on personalized relationships, providing attentive one-on-one service to customers, and fostering a sense of community.

The Customer Experience Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring customers have a positive experience with the Bank’s products and services. This role is responsible for addressing common customer questions, resolving issues, and effectively routing inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel when necessary.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally handling inquiries related to deposit accounts, electronic payments, debit cards, and banking products
  • Educate customers on available banking products and services, recommending solutions tailored to their financial needs and supporting marketing initiatives across print and digital platforms
  • Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers and ACH files and returns, ensuring accurate posting and compliance with NACHA and Federal Reserve guidelines
  • Manage debit card operations, including card ordering and printing, limit adjustments, fraud assistance, dispute processing, and transaction issue resolution
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments while maintaining clear communication with customers and collaborating with internal teams to improve service delivery
  • Participate in team meetings and training, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive customer and financial information
  • Ensure accurate data entry while adhering to all bank operational, security, and compliance procedures
  • Demonstrate strong time management, critical thinking, and identity verification skills to prioritize tasks and validate transaction requests
  • Proficiency with computers, financial software and office equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings
