The Branch Manager leads by example, fostering a high-performing team through active coaching and support. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, business development, consumer lending, and serving as a liaison for commercial loans. The role also ensures branch operations comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Oversee daily branch operations, facilities, and security; manage and support staff performance, scheduling, and development while ensuring high service standards and compliance with company policies.
  • Originate, evaluate, and process consumer loans; ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance; collaborate with loan servicing and present recommendations to the Loan Committee when necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison for commercial loans, maintaining relationships with borrowing clients and identifying opportunities to expand the bank’s lending portfolio.
  • Stay current on all federal and state lending, collection, and banking regulations; maintain NMLS registration and support ongoing audit and compliance initiatives.
  • Represent the bank within the community, develop new and existing client relationships, and support efforts to increase branch market share and profitability.
  • Provide backup support for teller and account specialist roles, resolve transaction errors, process overdrafts, and assist with customer service escalations and sensitive matters.

Qualifications:
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
  • 2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • 2 years of lending experience
  • Strong commitment to customer service and issue resolution
  • Knowledge of banking operations and compliance
  • Ability to pass background screenings
