Aviation Inventory Clerk

A well-established company in the transportation and service industry is seeking an Inventory Clerk. With a long-standing reputation for safety, reliability, and operational excellence, the organization supports a variety of technical and field-based operations nationwide. In addition to its core services, the company provides a broad range of maintenance, logistics, and support solutions for both public and private sector clients.

This position is responsible for supporting daily inventory and warehouse operations by providing timely service, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials and equipment are properly received, stored, and distributed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of helping maintain a clean, efficient, and well-managed work environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Distribute and track tooling, supplies, and materials while maintaining accurate inventory control
  • Support maintenance technicians with timely service, material requests, and tool returns
  • Accurately document inventory usage, bill materials to jobs, and log tool activity.
  • Communicate inventory shortages, supply needs, and operational issues to management and team leads
  • Receive, process, store, and ship parts, materials, equipment, and tooling safely and efficiently
  • Assist with special projects, inventory counts, warehouse organization, and occasional local supply runs

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in inventory/logistics control required and experience in aviation preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or ability to learn mechanical principles
  • Ability to understand and comply with FAA regulations and company guidelines
  • Proficient at an intermediate level or better in Microsoft Office products and industry software, such as inventory/toll management or ordering software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Ability to pass background screenings
