A well-established local pool and spa company serving the Flathead Valley is seeking a dependable team member to join its service department. The company is known for quality service, customer care, and a friendly team environment, providing pool and spa maintenance, water testing, and related services throughout the area.
This position provides pool and spa maintenance at customer locations, including water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and basic equipment checks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently and outdoors, and enjoys customer service. Previous pool or maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
Starting Wage: $18/hour
Schedule: Part-time, Tuesdays and Thursdays required
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Drive a company vehicle to customer locations to perform scheduled pool and spa services
- Test and balance water chemistry, including sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and other levels
- Perform routine pool and spa cleaning, maintenance, and chemical treatments
- Inspect filters, pumps, circulation systems, and other equipment; identify and report issues
- Maintain accurate service records and safely handle, transport, and store chemicals
- Provide professional customer service while keeping vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and following all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous pool, spa, water treatment, maintenance, landscaping, or similar experience preferred
- Reliable, dependable, and comfortable driving a company vehicle
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures with strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around pool and spa chemicals and able to lift and carry equipment and chemical containers as needed
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
