The Painter position involves preparing surfaces, selecting the appropriate products and application methods, and completing detailed work on a variety of residential and commercial surfaces. Starting Wage: $25 to $35/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Perform interior and exterior painting and finishing work
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, cleaning, masking, and priming
- Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and coatings using brush, roller, and spray methods
- Select appropriate products and techniques for different surfaces and materials
- Complete detailed finishing work on trim, doors, millwork, siding, and other surfaces
- Maintain a clean work area while following quality standards, safety procedures, project specifications, and schedules
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional painting experience
- Strong knowledge of paints, stains, coatings, and application techniques
- Experience with brush, roller, and spray applications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to properly prepare surfaces and work efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
