This is a fast-paced, inventory-driven operation that requires strong organization and attention to detail in its accounting processes. The company is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions and the monthly close. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role focused on execution rather than high-level strategy, ideal for someone who can maintain accuracy, stay organized, and confidently manage inventory accounting.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Own the monthly close process and deliver accurate financials within 10 to 15 days
- Maintain the general ledger, account reconciliations, and overall reporting accuracy
- Manage inventory accounting across systems, ensuring accurate COGS and product costing
- Reconcile inventory between systems and physical counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee AP/AR, daily transactions, and perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Improve accounting workflows, reduce manual processes, and support system integrations
Qualifications:
- 4 to 8 years of proven accounting experience
- Experience in inventory-based or product businesses
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Strong understanding of COGS and inventory accounting
- Ability to manage a monthly close process
