A growing luxury design and fabrication company in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Designer to join its creative and production team. The company specializes in crafting custom, high-end architectural elements including fireplaces, elevators, cabinetry, and metal installations for residential and commercial clients.

This role supports the design process through shop drawings and 3D modeling, working closely with designers, engineers, production staff, and vendors to ensure projects are efficiently executed from concept through fabrication.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to refine project scope
• Develop detailed shop drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks to support fabrication and project execution
• Translate design concepts into precise fabrication-ready documentation
• Review and refine drawings based on production feedback and technical requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (required)
• Experience creating fabrication or architectural shop drawings
• Background in high-end architectural elements, millwork, or metal fabrication preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
