A well-established Montana financial institution with a robust and expanding insurance division is seeking a driven Account Executive to join its high-performing team. This organization delivers comprehensive protection for individuals, families, businesses, and agricultural operations from personal home, auto, health, and life coverage to specialized commercial and farm policies that safeguard equipment, property, livestock, and employees. With deep local roots and a commitment to exceptional, relationship-focused service, they help clients protect what matters most and plan confidently for the future.

This role is centered on delivering exceptional client service while supporting growth within the personal lines insurance division. You’ll build strong client relationships, manage policy needs with accuracy, and collaborate with producers and underwriters to deliver tailored insurance solutions. While prior experience and a Montana Property & Casualty license are preferred, this is also an excellent entry point into the industry for a motivated, detail-oriented individual. The team is committed to providing training and support for the right candidate.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Consistently apply strategies for upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing services to maximize client value
  • Act as a reliable primary contact for clients, fostering trust through timely communication and professional support
  • Manage policy updates including renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and adjustments with precision
  • Collaborate with producers and underwriters to develop proposals, negotiate coverage terms, and finalize policies
  • Keep accurate and current client information within the agency management system

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in property & casualty personal lines preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of personal lines insurance products and markets
  • Active Montana Property & Casualty license preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
  • Ability to travel – approximately 25% travel required
