Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Complete and maintain loan application logs, decline logs, department minutes, and office correspondence
  • Perform data entry for commercial, consumer, and real estate loans, including follow-ups on insurance, liens, and UCC filings
  • Assist with pre-closing loan document checks and process SBA transactions and mail.
  • Balance general ledger and checking accounts; process loan payments, transfers, and participation with financial institutions
  • Respond to audit/examination requests and provide necessary reports and files
  • Participate in community service and bank-sponsored activities
  • Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame


Qualifications:

  • A moderate level of banking and loan documentation experience and knowledge preferred
  • High degree of attention to detail as well as excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize heavy workloads and demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Must have the ability to work in a professional manner and consistently demonstrate courtesy, customer service, and tact
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, ten-key, and general computer applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
