The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of CNC and conventional machinery to produce high-quality parts and components according to precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently within a team-oriented production environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the physical ability to perform hands-on manufacturing work in a fast-paced setting.

Wage: $18 to $19/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Thursday – 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 3 Day Weekends!


Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Sets up and operates CNC equipment by interpreting, editing, and uploading programs; installs tooling and fixtures, and adjusts feeds and speeds as required
  • Operates a variety of conventional and CNC machines (Laser, Brake, Water Jet) to cut, form, drill, tap, turn, mill, and stamp materials according to specifications
  • Performs deburring and surface finishing to meet quality standards
  • Selects, measures, and prepares raw materials and components for production
  • Troubleshoots equipment and material issues to maintain production efficiency
  • Accurately completes required production documentation and records
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards


Qualifications:

  • Understands how individual responsibilities contribute to team goals and coordinate effectively with other departments.
  • Identifies and resolves common work-related issues independently, following established procedures.
  • Comfortable with extended standing and regular physical activity such as bending, reaching, and lifting
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
