Essential Functions and Duties:
- Sew buttons, nametags, and seams on garments and uniforms
- Perform general mending and clothing repairs
- Inspect items for damage and determine appropriate repair methods
- Operate sewing machines and hand-stitch as needed
- Hem pants, sleeves, and other garments to specified lengths
- Replace zippers and other fasteners when necessary
Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication with coworkers and management
- Reliable, showing up to work on time and consistently
- Ability lift, twist, bend, stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
