They’re looking for someone dependable and versatile who enjoys both helping customers and rolling up their sleeves to handle day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate for this Sales Associate role is someone who enjoys working with people and wants to play a key role in growing our hot tub department while continuing our tradition of excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership, enjoys learning, and values relationship-based sales over high-pressure tactics and is looking for a long-term position.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Provide a welcoming, knowledgeable experience for all showroom customers
- Serve as a primary point of contact for hot tub customers, from initial inquiry through post-sale follow-up
- Actively supporting the growth of the hot tub department by building leads, following up consistently, and identifying opportunities to improve sales and customer experience
- Educate customers on hot tub features, benefits, water care, maintenance, and installation requirements
- Assist customers with hearth products including fireplaces, stoves, and accessories
- Prepare quotes, complete sales paperwork, and process transactions accurately
- Phone sales
- Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure smooth scheduling and delivery
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure the hot tub area is clean, organized, and inviting
- Stay current on product knowledge, promotions, and financing options
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or consultative sales experience preferred
- Interest in home improvement, outdoor living, or wellness products
- Strong communication skills and follow-through
- Comfortable taking initiative and contributing ideas to help grow a department
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Ability to work on a rare Saturday or evening for promotions
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, order entry)
- Ability to stand and move throughout the showroom
- Ability to lift light to moderate items such as accessories or water care products
- Forklift experience a plus and/or willingness to learn
