The Company Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations for a growing technology organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, leading compliance and audit efforts, and driving strategic financial planning across the business. The position offers the opportunity to influence company direction through budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making, while managing key SaaS financial processes including revenue recognition, ARR/MRR, and cash flow. The ideal candidate is a CPA with extensive experience in a SaaS environment, skilled in implementing financial systems, strengthening internal controls, and mentoring a high-performing accounting team.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Lead all financial reporting and compliance functions, ensuring accuracy, audit readiness, and adherence to GAAP, regulatory, and lender requirements
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic planning, performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making
- Oversee SaaS-specific financial management, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), ARR/MRR metrics, deferred revenue, and billing processes
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital, ensuring liquidity and operational efficiency
- Drive system and process improvements through implementation of ERP and automation tools, strengthening internal controls and reporting accuracy
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, collaborating with cross-functional leaders and contributing to strategic initiatives such as M&A and long-term financial planning
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the SaaS industry
- Proven background in both public accounting and in-house finance roles, with expertise leading audits and managing external auditor and lender relationships
- Strong command of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, SaaS financial metrics, and internal control compliance
- Experienced in implementing and optimizing ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, or QuickBooks
- Skilled in overseeing complex financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting
- Effective leader and communicator with strong analytical abilities and experience mentoring high-performing teams; M&A experience a plus
