This position is a front-line sales role focused on driving new residential customer growth through direct outreach and community engagement. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and acquiring new customers, providing knowledgeable guidance on services, and ensuring a positive customer experience from first contact. Working closely with marketing and operational teams, this role supports campaigns, market expansion, and community initiatives. The ideal candidate is outgoing, motivated, and comfortable working in the field year-round, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
Salary: $50k to $55k base plus $45k to $55k in commissions and bonuses
Schedule: Full- time position, Tuesday through Saturday
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Drive new revenue by prospecting, engaging with leads, and acquiring new residential customers through door-to-door sales
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on products and services, aligning solutions to customer needs and ensuring a positive experience
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and operations to support campaigns and market expansion efforts
- Track sales activity, maintain accurate records, and contribute data for KPI analysis and reporting
- Participate in sales strategies such as campaigns, community events, and conferences to grow market share
- Support team goals by attending sales meetings, completing training, and handling administrative tasks related to sales
Qualifications:
- Sales experience a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow is required
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language, Spanish a plus
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, clean driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Approximately 90% of the time spent in an outside environment for extended periods in any season
