Medical Office Receptionist


A well-established healthcare practice committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care with a focus on long-term wellness is seeking an Office Receptionist to add to their team. By combining compassionate service with a functional approach to medicine, the team is dedicated to helping patients improve their overall health while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment. The Receptionist serves as the face of the practice, ensuring patients receive exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a clinic focused on whole-person wellness.

Starting Wage: $18 to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Welcome patients and provide a professional, compassionate front-desk experience
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communications
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate patient intake, and support check-in/check-out processes
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and process payments and basic billing tasks
  • Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and daily operations
  • Keep the reception area organized while assisting with office and retail inventory management

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a medical office, wellness clinic, or customer service role preferred
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and standard office software
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards
  • Interest in functional, integrative, or holistic healthcare
  • No perfumes, scents, or smells allowed due to client allergies
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 lbs.
