Family owned and operated lumber mill is looking for an Inside Salesperson to add to their team. In business for over 75 years, they have a fun and cohesive team that helps serve Montana's booming construction industry by providing quality lumber products including timbers, boards, flooring, timber frames, siding and flooring.
Inside Salesperson will provide quality, knowledgeable customer care at point of sale. This is a fast paced, detailed position working directly with customers on all inbound sales.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in answering the phone and either assisting customer calls for lumber inquiries or directing to appropriate personnel if call is not related to sales.
- Respond to inquiries that come in through email, per schedule.
- Create detailed, accurate quotes for products from customer inquiries.
- Follow-up on leads and opportunities and build relationships.
- Write up accurate and detailed sales orders for the production team.
- Assist front counter sales as necessary.
- Coordinate customer pickup and delivery using both company vehicles and common carrier shipping services.
- Starting pay of $60K to $65K/year
- Medical with 80% paid by the employer
- 401K w/ 4% match and profit sharing
- 2 weeks PTO year 1
- Schedule is Monday through Friday 730am to 4pm with flexibility for work life balance
