Lead Property Maintenance Technician

A growing full-service property maintenance company is seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance professional to oversee and manage maintenance operations at their facility in Columbia Falls. This is a company that is committed to providing exceptional services, finding solutions to residents’ needs.

The Lead Property Maintenance Technician position is responsible for the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community. While on site, the Maintenance Technician will coordinate with management and staff on work order priorities and provide status updates. Pay: $23 to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Respond and complete service requests and work orders efficiently, courteously and in a timely manner, while ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop, storage areas and the entire property
  • Prioritize and respond promptly to company calls and service requests
  • Prepare vacant apartments to market ready status and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC and other mechanical systems as needed
  • Conduct snow removal, clean and maintain grounds, including common areas
  • Submit and coordinate vendor and parts requests for approval and provide updates to the property manager
  • Report customer service, operational, safety, and security concerns to management and provide basic training/help to other technicians as needed

Qualifications:
  • A professional and friendly attitude with guests and employees
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop and pick up a minimum of 45 pounds, or more with assistance and lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, kneeling, etc.
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather
  • Valid driver's license and a clean background check
