Intermediate Welder

This position is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work supporting the production of welded miscellaneous and frame assemblies. The role requires proficiency in TIG, MIG, and oxy-acetylene welding, along with the ability to read engineering drawings, accurately measure and cut materials, and safely operate common shop tools and equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and workspace organization, contributing directly to the reliability and precision of finished products.

Wage: $23 to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Thursday – 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 3 Day Weekends!

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Perform TIG, MIG, and oxy-acetylene welding using common shop tools and equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Accurately measure materials using hand and shop measuring tools
  • Cut and prepare metal stock for welded miscellaneous and frame assemblies
  • Fabricate simple welded assemblies and frame components to quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety requirements
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience
  • Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods
  • Evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
