A local countertop fabricator is seeking a Granite Apprentice to join their team. As an entry-level stone countertop installer, you will assist in the installation of stone countertops in residential and commercial properties. You will work alongside an experienced installer, learning the skills necessary to measure, cut, transport, and install stone surfaces while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Starting Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of stone slabs
- Aid in the installation of countertops and other stone surfaces
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Ensure quality and accuracy of installations
- Maintain tools and equipment
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50-100 lbs)
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
