Construction Superintendent

A well-established residential construction firm serving the Flathead Valley is seeking a Construction Superintendent. Known for high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and well-run jobsites, the team specializes in custom homes and renovations that balance thoughtful design with durable construction. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role is heavily focused on quality control, job site safety, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining efficient workflow throughout all phases of construction.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
  • Enforce jobsite safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Conduct daily site inspections to maintain quality, workmanship, and adherence to plans
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries
  • Monitor schedules, manpower, and progress to keep projects on track and on budget
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions with project managers and leadership

Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar on-site leadership role
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety practices, and quality standards
  • Ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and specifications
  • Reliable, organized, and safety-focused mindset
