Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and automatic screw machines
- Machine metal and nonmetal materials to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Complete in-process inspections and production documentation
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and replace tooling as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of related CNC or machining experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Knowledge of G-code programming
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to solve practical production challenges
