A beautiful local resort in Whitefish, Montana, is currently seeking a Bartender to their team. With upscale accommodations and a commitment to exceptional service, this resort offers a convenient and inviting location just minutes from local dining, outdoor recreation, and some of the region’s most iconic destinations. Whether our guests are looking for adventure, relaxation, or both, they can enjoy an experience that blends comfort, style, and authentic hospitality.

The Bartender plays a key role in creating a memorable guest experience by delivering exceptional service and fostering genuine connections with every guest. This position requires warmth, energy, and professionalism, along with a strong sense of teamwork and attention to detail. By combining product knowledge, efficiency, and a welcoming presence, the Bartender ensures each guest feels valued while maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere behind the bar.

Schedule: Full and Part-time opportunities

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, taking and accurately entering orders, and guiding food and beverage selections
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of menu items, wine, beer, liquor, and specialty cocktails; prepare consistent, properly measured drinks
  • Process payments and follow company cash handling and accounting procedures using POS systems (Aloha/OpenTable)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and work area while completing assigned side work
  • Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and T.I.P.S. certification standards

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in POS systems, including Aloha and OpenTable
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods (6–8 hour shifts)
  • Able to clearly hear and respond to guest orders in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at multitasking under pressure while remaining organized and composed
  • Strong knowledge of the lunch and dinner menu, wine list, beer selections, and specialty cocktails
  • Ability to professionally handle guest concerns and communicate issues to management when necessary
  • Ability to pass a background screening
