Staff Accountant – Flexible Hours
Are you a numbers whiz looking to put your advanced accounting skills to work? We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Kalispell and help keep things running smoothly.
The Staff Accountant will assist with oversight of the daily activities of A/P and A/R activities, as well as assist with various G/L reviews and reconciliations and month-end closing procedures. If you’re detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy variety in your work, this is a great way to make an impact and maybe even have a little fun doing it.
What You’ll Do
- Subject matter expert and support for day-to-day accounting functions such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and benefits.
- Advanced payroll functions, such as certified payroll and garnishments management,
- Reconciliations, monthly journal entries, GL account reconciliations.
- Provide accurate support in recording, reconciling and researching financial data.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 to 5 years corporate accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
- Strong understanding of tax and payroll regulations.
- Knowledge of staffing industry preferred
The Details
- Schedule: Flexible part-time up to full-time hours, typically within regular business hours (Monday–Friday).
- Location: On-site in our Kalispell office.
- Environment: Collaborative, supportive, and fast-paced — you’ll work closely with our accounting team.
