Essential Functions and Duties:
- Serve as the on-site leader for all construction activities, maintaining a professional, organized, and disciplined jobsite while directing subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
- Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific plans; conduct daily safety walks and toolbox talks and proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Assist in developing and maintaining the master schedule, manage 3 to 6 week look-ahead schedules, coordinate manpower, inspections, material deliveries, and sequencing, and implement recovery plans as needed
- Enforce quality standards per plans, specifications, and best practices; perform daily quality control inspections, document deficiencies, and lead the three-phase QC process
- Coordinate trade partners and vendors by managing productivity, compliance, logistics, site access, and verifying work aligns with approved drawings and submittals
- Maintain field-level cost awareness, identify scope gaps or overruns, support change orders and invoice reviews, and complete daily reports, field logs, and photo documentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading commercial construction jobsites and serving as the on-site authority for daily operations
- Demonstrated leadership of subcontractors and vendors, including running effective trade coordination meetings
- Solid knowledge of OSHA standards with a consistent track record of enforcing safety and quality control practices
- Organized, cost-aware, and self-directed, with strong documentation skills and the ability to operate independently
