As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a hands-on role in producing high-tech products that support cutting-edge industries. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with mechanical and electrical assemblies, applying your skills to build, test, and improve advanced equipment. Essential Functions and Duties:
- Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies using schematics, work orders, wiring diagrams, and instructions
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair, identifying and correcting errors
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment, following all safety policies, procedures, and training; promptly report hazards or incidents
- Use test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies; record progress, labor, and material usage in computer systems; may assist with programming or software installation
- Inspect, receive, and audit parts to ensure completeness; check for defects and ensure quality of finished work
- Troubleshoot and optimize processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and product quality
Qualifications:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly
- Ability to assemble components of varying sizes according to diagrams and integrate assemblies into mechanical and electrical systems
- Prior manufacturing or electrical assembly experience is a plus
- Moderately experienced technician capable of troubleshooting and working independently
- High School diploma or equivalent
