A long-standing, family-owned equipment dealership with deep Montana roots is seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join their team. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations, guide a team of skilled technicians, and ensure efficient, high-quality repairs and maintenance while upholding safety standards and strengthening customer relationships.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Oversee service and repair of agricultural equipment, applying detailed knowledge of components, mechanics, and maintenance procedures
  • Interpret and work with electronic schematics, hydraulic systems, and other technical documentation
  • Manage service department accounting processes, including tracking costs and budgets
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and other computer-based records
  • Address personnel concerns, ensuring effective communication and team management within the department
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, inspections, and best practices in all service operations

Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years’ experience with agricultural equipment or closely related fields
  • Education or experience in diesel technology, farm or agriculture, business, accounting or related fields
  • One-year supervisory experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer programs and the ability to use programs effectively
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and inspections
