The Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and play a key role in delivering safe, accurate imaging services that support patient diagnosis and treatment. Their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail help ensure that each patient feels informed, comfortable, and supported throughout the process.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with current exam protocols, department standards, and ALARA principles, ensuring high-quality images
- Assess, support, and communicate with patients throughout their procedures to ensure safety, comfort, and understanding
- Collaborate with providers and radiology staff, accurately implementing orders, assisting with exams, and supporting clinical procedures as needed
- Complete required documentation, maintain technologist competency and QA standards, and ensure compliance with all protocols
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues while helping coordinate maintenance and repairs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked imaging area and perform administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; ARRT certification and current Montana Radiologic Technologist license required
- Current BLS CPR certification (RQI Responder)
- Strong knowledge of radiology protocols, imaging equipment, patient preparation, and safety standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office, and able to learn additional medical software; familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment background, drug and health screenings
