A growing residential construction company based in the Flathead Valley specializing in high-quality custom homes and renovations is seeking a Project and Operations Manager. The position combines hands-on project management with operational leadership, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and client satisfaction. In addition to managing schedules, budgets, and jobsite performance, this role plays a key part in improving construction processes, supporting company growth, and mentoring project managers and field staff.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Lead high-end residential construction projects from planning through final close-out, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, timelines, change orders, and cost tracking
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and luxury craftsmanship standards
  • Oversee jobsite quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes and company standards
  • Improve and standardize construction processes, systems, reporting, and cost controls to support operational efficiency and profitability
  • Lead, mentor, and support project managers, superintendents, and field staff while maintaining strong client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in residential construction project management, with luxury home building experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, cost controls, and project financials
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Buildertrend, Procore, or similar platforms
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
